CFI Renewal Applicants

Administrative Renewal of your CFI Certificate

CFI Certificate Renewals may be processed via the following means if: (1) the certificate is not expired, and (2) one of the following requirements are met:

Flight Instructor Refresher Clinic

If you complete an Online or in person FIRC, you may submit your graduation certificate and a completed FAA Form 8710 or IACRA application, provided the graduation certificate was received within the 60 days preceding the date of application.

Instructor Activity

If you endorse at least five applicants for a practical test, and 80% of those applicants pass on the first attempt.

Submit a completed FAA Form 8710 or IACRA application, along with a record of applicants to renew your certificate.
